Each hard capsule contains:
Active ingredient: Cefalexin monohydrate compacted equivalent to Cefalexin 500mg
Usage (Indication)
Cefalexin is indicated in infections caused by susceptible bacteria, but not for the treatment of serious infections.
– Respiratory tract infections: acute and chronic bronchitis, infectious bronchiectasis.
– Ear, nose, throat infections: otitis media, mastoiditis, sinusitis, tonsillitis and pharyngitis.
Urinary tract inflammation: cystitis and prostatitis. Treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections.
– Obstetrics and gynecological infections.
– Skin, soft tissue and bone infections.
Gonorrhea (when penicillin is not suitable).
– Dental infections.
– Penicillin prophylaxis for people with heart disease requiring dental treatment.
